Freedom Hill Elementary welcomes you and your child to kindergarten!
On Monday, March 4th at 2:00 p.m. you and your child are invited to attend a kindergarten orientation meeting. While the students visit the kindergarten classrooms, you will have the opportunity to learn about the kindergarten program, and discuss administrative matters such as schedules and buses.
In order to minimize the process this year, we are requesting parents make an appointment to complete registration. All documents must be completed in order to make an appointment. Appointments for registration can be made by calling (703)506-7800, prior to March 4th, if all documents are completed. All registration requirements must be met before a student may enter kindergarten on September 3, 2013.
Virginia state law requires that a report of a comprehensive physical examination by a licensed physician must be presented to the school prior to the date the child first enters a public school. The examination must take place no earlier than 12 months prior to September 3, 2013, and must be on file in the school before your child will be able to attend kindergarten.
