Fairfax County Public  Schools received an incredible and rare opportunity for the physical education program, a Carol M. White PEP (Physical Education program) grant from the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Safe and Healthy Schools.  The three-year grant provides curriculum, software, equipment, and staff training.  This opportunity helps prepare our students to lead active and healthy lives.  To meet this goal, there is an emphasis on helping students increase their health and fitness knowledge and form healthy habits.  FCPS is currently in the third year of the grant. If you would NOT like your child to participate, please indicate that on the form sent home with your child and have your child deliver it to their Physical Education teacher.   Thank you!
