Wednesday, October 9 is International Walk to School Day!  Walking to school is fun and promotes a sense of joy and independence in children.  It’s good for your health, promotes a cleaner environment, reduces traffic congestion, and promotes community.  PLEASE WALK TO SCHOOL THIS WEDNESDAY!!  If you live too far to walk to school, join us at one of two “Walking SCHOOLBUS” locations and we will walk together.  We will meet up at the intersection of George Washington Road and Wolftrap Road and the intersection of Black Stallion Circle and Woodford Road at 8:45 am.  Let’s see how many walkers we can get on Wednesday!  Visit www.walkbiketoschool.org to learn more about why walking or biking to school is a GOOD idea!  Contact Tina Ejtemai for more information.
