Student Travel Tally Month

This month schools will be surveying their students to see how students arrive to school and what mode of transportation they take home. The vast majority of students in FCPS schools arrive by bus but an alarming number of students come by private car which causes traffic jams around our schools and makes it less safe for walkers and bike riders.  Safe Routes to School is collecting data to see what improvements can be made to encourage more parents and students to choose to use the bus or make walking and biking the regular routine to get to school.
