Parents,
The technology department would like to thank you for your support this year and remind you of a few items before the close of the school year. Please note that our school website will remain active during the months of June and August and will be updated for the 2013-2014 school year in early September. The student links found in the “Student Resources” section of the website will also remain active through the summer months.
Please encourage your children to utilize the following programs over the summer:
- MyOn – online books
- SOLPass – get ready for next year
- Type to Learn 4 – brush up on your typing skills
*Please note that the collaborative product, Google Apps for Education, will not be shut down during the summer. Due to the collaborative nature of this tool, please be sure to monitor your children as they work with this or any other digital software or device.
**Another thing to note is that FHES will begin to participate in the BOYD program (Bring Your Own Device) in September with grades 5 & 6 only. Parents of rising 5th and 6th graders, please refer to the BYOD section of our school webpage to keep up to date on program information, approved devices, and FAQ’s.
