Last year we lost a member of the Freedom Hill Family.  Janine Walker spent her life advocating for children and her impact on FHES will never be forgotten.  Janine holds a special place in our hearts.  Her legacy continues to inspire us to provide each and every child the very best we have to offer.  On October 18th, 2013, we celebrated Janine’s contributions by unveiling a beautiful quilt made by her mother in the library.  The quilt is adorned with Janine’s favorite children’s books.  Family members had the opportunity to share some words with those in attendance.  Our Environmental Club planted a tree on campus in honor of Janine as well.
