Marshall HS Pyramid Concert

Nearly fifty members attended and sang at the Marshall Pyramid Concert on Friday, February 21st.  This chorus concert is a chance for elementary singers to perform, and then listen to performances by the older student at Kilmer Middle School and Marshall High School.  Many of our former Freedom Hill Singers are members of those groups, and it was a delight to see them still singing and taking on leadership roles in those choruses.

The Freedom Hill Singers sang two numbers alone on the stage, as did three other elementary schools (Lemon Road,  Shrevewood, and Westbriar).  After the middle and high school performances, all students joined together to sing Give Us Hope by Jim Papoulis.  It was a wonderful evening of great music, performed in the newly renovated theater space at Marshall High School.
