In late May we shared with you the 21st project that the 5h grade team has been conducting over the past few months. Click here to visit the previous post. While we are still putting the finishing touches on our final project we wanted to share with you our latest update.
On June 2nd, the fifth grade team was recognized by FCPS for their hard work and dedication to providing students with 21st century learning opportunities. The event, The Innovation Institute Share Fair, was hosted by FCPS and featured a multitude of 21st century programs that have occurred in Fairfax schools during the 2013-2014 school year. The fifth grade team was represented by Zayd Mahid, Gavin Mee, Ms. Brosnan, Ms. Pourhashemi, Ms. Buggio, and Mr. Bloom. Division leaders and school representatives learned from each other and shared ideas as attendees moved around the room, visiting each table, asking questions of the students and the teachers.
