Blog by Miss Roque, 4th Grade:
Over the past two week, students in Ms. Roque’s class have been learning about subject pronouns and object pronouns.
On Friday, October 24th, it was “No Pronoun Day”. This meant students had to speak without the use of pronouns. If they did this with less than 22 errors, they would get a pajama day. So the sentence, “Welcome to No Prounoun Day!” was put on the board. Each time a student used a pronoun to converse, they had to erase a letter. There was a catch…..every time Ms. Roque used a pronoun, students got a letter back in the sentence.
Students received their pajama day!
