2nd Annual Dr. Seuss Family Literacy Night: A Huge Success!

Freedom Hill would like to thank all of our families that came out on Thursday for our 2nd Annual Dr. Seuss Family Literacy Night!  We had a great turnout and lots of fun!  Mr. Bloom opened the evening with a read-aloud of Dr. Seuss’ “Oh the Places You’ll Go!”.  Afterwards, there were many opportunities throughout the building for our families including parent sessions, technology, teacher read-alouds, a Braille station led by one of our own students, and a variety of fun activities.  We are thankful for our Literacy Committee and all of the volunteers who worked so hard to coordinate this wonderful event!  Even Sebastian Bloom, now 3 months old, made his first appearance at FHES!  Please enjoy these photos taken by school staff and parents, especially Gigi Khonyongwa-Fernandez:
