Save the Date!

The second annual Community Conversation on Teen Stress: Fostering Wellness and Resiliency will be held on May 9, 2015, at Hayfield Secondary School from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.  Marc Brackett, Ph.D. (the director of the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence) will be the keynote speaker.  Tracy Cross, Ph.D. (Professor at The College of William and Mary and Executive Director of the Center for Gifted Studies and Talent Development), will speak in the afternoon about perfectionism and adolescent suicidality.  In addition, breakout sessions led by FCPS staff members and guest presenters will be offered and a variety of exhibitors will be present.   More information is available at http://www.fcps.edu/dss/summit/.
