Summer is a time to rest, play…and read! This year, FCPS has introduced a new and exciting summer reading program called, “Book Your Summer.”  Book Your Summer runs June 27 – September 7 and offers a variety of ways for your child to participate in summer reading, from reading different styles of books to visiting the library or drawing a picture of something they’ve read about. Rising first through twelfth grade students can download the READ! Activity Card to get started. Each student who completes and submits a READ! Card online will be entered into a drawing at their school for $50 worth of books or a laptop computer of their own.
