We have several author events taking place at Barnes & Noble Tysons over the next couple months that may of interest to you and your students. These events are free. Although customers must purchase a book in order to enter the signing line and meet the author. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions! - Saturday, September 24th at 2pm – D. J. MacHale
Acclaimed children’s author D.J. MacHale (Pendragon, SYLO Chronicles, Morpheus Road) will read and sign copies of his new middle grade book Curse of the Boggin. This is the first in his new series ‘The Library Book.’ Wristbands will be distributed from our first floor at 1:00PM the day of the event.
- Wednesday, October 5th at 6pm – Stuart Gibbs
Bestselling middle grade author Stuart Gibbs (Spy School, Moon Base Alpha, FunJungle) will read and sign copies of his new book Spy Ski School (Spy School #4). Wristbands will be distributed from our first floor at 5pm.
- Thursday, October 13th at 7pm – Marie Lu
Bestselling YA author Marie Lu (The Legend Series and The Young Elite Series) will read and sign copies of The Midnight Star. The Midnight Star is the third and final book in The Young Elite Series. Wristbands will be given out at 6pm from our first floor.
- Sunday, October 16th at 2pm – Neal Shusterman
Join us for an afternoon with National Book Award-winning author Neal Shusterman. Mr. Shusterman will read and sign copies of his YA book Challenger Deep. Wristbands for this event will be distributed from the first floor at 1pm.
