For the next three weeks Freedom Hill will be participating in the Pennies for Patients program. Students will bring boxes home on Monday, March 20th to collect money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, which works with thousands of schools across the country to raise funds for blood cancer research. Students will learn about service, leadership, and philanthropy by helping LLS find a cure for blood cancers and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
Homerooms will compete to see who can raise the most money from Monday, March 20th to Friday, April 7th. The homeroom that raises the most money will receive a pizza party!
Donations can be made in cash, by check, or online at:
If donating online, be sure to click the teacher’s name if you are donating on behalf of a specific student.
Checks can be made payable to The Leukemia & Lymphoma society.
